Multiple-Lock Fitting Instructions

There are two main body styles: Standard and Tubular, and two main catch forms: Standard and Chain

Please find detailed below the three main installation options. Standard lock bodies use the Multiple-Lock fitting template.

Tubular Multiple-Lock

For Tubular Frames (CHS or pipe) where welding is not desirable we supply the Tubular Multiple-Lock. The unit is the only model that includes all the permanent security fixings required to clamp the lock to frames from 30 to 70 mm diameter.

Standard Multiple-Lock

This unit uses the bolt-on catch and is ideal for gates and cabinets. The body has 7 possible fixing points, while the catch carries 4 points. The fixing points are optimised for 10 mm coach or carriage bolts (dome-head cup-squares). Fitting template and blanking kit for 4 positions included.

Standard Multiple-Lock with chain catch

This unit uses the stainless 8mm chain catch and is ideal for older gates, farm style gates, concrete posts, valves and securing plant. The body has 7 possible fixing points optimised for 10 mm coach or carriage bolts (dome-head cup-squares). Fitting template and blanking kit for 4 positions included.
