Multiple-Lock Catch Options
Multiple-Locks catches can be fitted through the front or rear of the Multiple-Lock. The most popular options are the bolt-on catch and the chain catch. The bolt-on catch is 12mm stainless steel and is designed to be bolted permanently in place. This catch option is compatible with doors, cabinets, hatches, manhole covers, gates and vehicle barriers. The chain catch is manufactured from 8mm marine grade stainless steel and 12 mm plate and allows for flexible installations. This catch style is often used for low quality gates, farm gates etc. Chain catches are also ideal for securing valves and plant.
Versatile installations
Multiple-Lock installation is possible in virtually any conceivable situation, however the best format and orientation is not always obvious. Our installation styles page details a selection of specific installations using various catches, bodies and orientations, however if you require further assistance please e-mail Technical Support or ring your nearest office and ask for Technical Sales.

Sliding Door Frame Catch
This catch allows Multiple-Locks to be installed on rebated doors, hatches etc and is ideal for roof-top access, cabinet doors, and ladder hatches where fire regulation exclude the installation of obstacles which restrict the width of the escape route. The catch is sprung loaded and upon removal of any on pin can be retracted from the supplied striker plate in the door frame.
The catch fits all standard Multiple-Locks regardless of size but is incompatible with Multiple-Lock Shields.
Door Frame Catch
This catch allows Multiple-Locks to be installed on rebated doors, hatches etc and is ideal for roof-top access, cabinet doors, and ladder access points. The catch fits all standard Multiple-Locks regardless of size and is compatible with Multiple-Lock Shields.
Please note the catch protrudes from the door frame in the open position, this can contravene fire regulations in some installations. In such circumstances please use the Sliding Door frame Catch detailed below.
Bolt-on and chain-catch options
Use a standard bolt-on catch to allow shared access to gates, doors cabinets etc. Use a Chain catch wherever a standard Multiple-Lock is unsuitable.
Aside from normal gate and door applications, these catches also allow shared access to plant, safety equipment, valves and vehicle barriers.
